March Russian GB listings.

Please let me know what you think (good or bad, I can take it  thankyou1).  Also, if you are the seller or buyer of one of these auctions and I've singled you out for one reason or another, and you simply don't like it, by all means call me out.  I'm happy to revisit anything in here and correct the record if I've gotten it wrong.  "Current Condition" designators are open to interpretation as well, I'm learning that I suck at this portion of classification  chuckles1.

(I will update all these march GB posts with averages and whatnot when I get them computed! :) )

Item Number   Auction Page   Description   # Bids   Final Price   Year   Arsenal   Arsenal Condition   Current Condition   S/N   RM's Notes

473325892   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=473325892   1950 Russian SKS. Rare 90 Degree Gas Block   13   $535.09    1950   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   EM923   Could be an actual '49 (I have other EM prefixes in the database with proper '49 covers) or simply a transitional '50 sold by member Pat Adams after several attempts.  Replacement stock with maybe a bit of paint on the metal.  White bolt and carrier though.  Not a bad deal all in all.

473788238   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=473788238   Russian Tula SKS   6   $581.00    1950   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   ДГ836   Meh, Lots of guns like this one this month.

473130655   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=473130655   Russian SKS -1951 Vintage - ALL Matching serial #   1   $575.00    1951   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   Unknown   Telltale 45° gas block there lends credence to the receiver cover.  Replacement laminate stock and handguard.  Black bolt BBQ refurb.  Probably a decent shooter.  it’s unfortunately hat this is the finest example this guy has ever seen, there are some far nicer specimens out there!

471108786   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=471108786   SKS, Russian, 1951 TULA, VGC, full refurb, KBI   12   $450.00    1951   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   BK4014   Nice reworked black BBQ  '51 Tula here.  Pretty good price considering the number of bids.

473283567   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=473283567   Russian Tula SKS Very Nice Collector Laminate   16   $430.00    1951   Tula   Bubba - Reversible   Good   KГ5203   Black BBQ refurb.  I cringed when I saw the scope mount receiver cover, but then I saw the rest of the parts are included, whew!

470308527   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470308527   Russian SKS Semi Auto Rifle Like New Condition   2   $599.95    1951   Tula   Light Refurbished   Uncertain   MП889   C'mon pawnshop.  Let's take some decent photos of what you're trying to sell to us for 300% of what you paid for it.  I know we can always ask for additional photos, but may as well just save everybody the time and post up decent, in focus photos with your ad.  No way I'd feel comfortable shelling out 6 benjamins for this rifle as it's a clear refurb with that laminate stock on it.

472484421   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472484421   Russian Tula 1951 SKS 7.62 x 39 Soviet Russia   29   $445.00    1951   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Fair   ИП818   I can see why this one got so many bids, yet sold for a pretty low price.  Nobody was willing to put their foot down and say "MINE!"  I tell you what though, that sling is pretty damn snazzy.  Is it Russian? Romanian?  Greasemonkey's belt slapped on XYZ SKS?  Heck if I know, but it's unique, and unique is always interesting.  That lined out magazine came from a '54 Izhevsk...so I guess we can definitively say that SKSs went to common refurb together regardless of where they were originally produced.

470232756   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470232756   Russian Tula 1951 SKS 7.62 x 39 Soviet Russia   10   $427.00    1951   Tula   Light Refurbished   Fair   ЛП2332   I like the stock restamp on this one.  Igor: Hey Vladimir, where did you put the stock stamps?  Vladimir: I don't know, just use those big giant ones we use to mark the crates, nobody will ever notice!  Hurry up and mark it so we can go get my monthly ration of Vodka before they run out again!

474579740   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=474579740   Russian SKS Rifle from Tula Armory   6   $425.00    1951   Tula   Light Refurbished   Good   ЮO2852   Looks like a DeeDeeArr with the horizontal numbered handguard.  Century import by the looks of the S/N restamp, missing a bayo and apparently with a mismatched magazine.  Laminate stock would have been gorgeous looking if the photos had been taken outside in full sun.  Very good deal for the guy who hit the BIN.

473096090   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=473096090   RUSSIAN SKS TYPE 56 SEMI AUTO RIFLE   1   $795.00    1952   Tula   Bubba   Good   CГ568   BIN.  Whoever bought the mahogany stain and Minwax polyurethane from Home Depot to refinish this bad boy needs to go get their money back….

475393599   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=475393599   Russian SKS Rifle (1952 Tula, 7.62X39)   6   $550.00    1952   Tula   As-Issued   Good   MT313   Someone hit the BIN after 6 bids, the guy who bid the first 5 bids up to $400 should have done that.  He's gonna kick himself for letting this one get away, it's a darn nice gun at a great price in good original/collectable condition (even if the stock has some scratches).

472307577   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472307577   Russian SKS Rifle 1954 Tula matching   23   $670.00    1952   Tula   Uncertain   Good   ГT4937   Nice enough gun.  Receiver cover looks like a painted finish to me, and the stock seems just a bit off somehow, but that might just be me.  I can't fault the 23 bidders for trying for this one.

470548733   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470548733   SKS Russian Tula 1952   1   $550.00    1952   Tula   Light Refurbished   Good   HM5318   I can see why this one only got a single bid.  It's probably a great shooter, but it lacks the "Wow" factor that some of the other on this list have.

475597522   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=475597522   STUNNING NIB 1952 RUSSIAN SKS from Tula   3   $615.00    1952   Tula   Light Refurbished   Good   Unknown   I guess my idea of an 'absolutely stunning NIB' Russian SKS must differ from this guy's.  It's clean, it's nice, it's not stunning.  Replacement laminate stock.

470569897   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470569897   Quality Russian SKS Tula 1952 7.62x39   5   $595.00    1952   Tula   Light Refurbished   Good   ЗK400   Pretty nice little carbine. For the money it's probably not that bad a deal, though the XXX'd stock dings the collector value just a tad.

472182607   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472182607   53 Russian SKS Izhevsk All Matching C&R   1   $999.00    1953   Izhevsk   Light Refurbished   Very Good   EГ181   From our boy formerly known here as 06Sandstone.  Someone liked it enough to hit the $999 BIN right off the bat.  '53s are pretty rare.

471646192   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=471646192   Russian SKS Semi-Auto Rifle 7.62x39   20   $426.00    1953   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Fair   BA43   I'm scratching my head as to what makes this one worthy of 20 bids.  I know the final price isn't that high, but 20 bids?!  Neat low S/N and all, but the Chinese mismatch magazine, black bolt BBQ, and refurb stock kind of limits the ceiling of this particular one.

469929169   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=469929169   Laminated Russian 1952r Tula SKS Matching   1   $499.00    1953   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   MT3714   Black bolt refurb with a replacement laminate stock.  Single bid with no reserve.  Sold for $125 less than the BIN.

472217207   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472217207   * Russian SKS 7.62x39 Semi Rifle * Russia Tula   16   $699.99    1953   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   ЛГ3970   Whole boatloads of different bidders on this one.  Someone finally just hit the BIN.  DeeDeeArr stock, decent looking metal.  Maybe a bit pricey.

471649029   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=471649029   Russian SKS 1953r   1   $575.00    1953   Tula   Light Refurbished   Fair   ЛИ6374   For some reason, I really like the extra circle Б stamp on the left side of this stock.  Not a horrible deal I guess.

472459659   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472459659   Russian SKS   17   $561.00    1953   Tula   As-Issued   Very Good   Unknown   This might just be the steal of the month right here.  Horrid presentation with 4 dark photos, but what you can see of the stock leads me to think it's likely original.  Heck of a buy right here, wish I had seen it as I would have been sorely tempted.

474905429   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=474905429   Russian SKS 1954 Izhevsk   7   $575.00    1954   Izhevsk   Heavy Refurbished   Fair   Л519_X   This gun has popped up so often its not funny.  Thankfully, it's finally sold and gone.  Black bolt BBQ refurb with a painted refurb receiver cover.  Why does it get a definite '54 Izhevsk designation instead of an orange designation you may ask?  Because the 'X' S/N suffix only appeared on '54 Izhevsk SKS carbines.

471816545   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=471816545   Russian Tula SKS Original Packing Box VERY NICE   1   $979.00    1954   Tula   As-Issued   Very Good   AM49   Another gun brought to us by dcushing, another high price received from someone hitting the BIN.  I actually like this one quite a bit better than the other '54 Tula AT2492 to be honest.

469908638   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=469908638   Russian SKS   10   $495.00    1954   Tula   Bubba - Permanent   Fair   AM5419   Nice looking stock, appears to not have been dickered with.  But then you get to the receiver photos and they drilled and tapped for a scout scope mount.  Dang, that just makes me want to go home and kick the cat.  Pretty poor presentation too.

471029505   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=471029505   Russian Tula SKS Original Packing Box non-refurb   2   $1,079.00    1954   Tula   As-Issued   Very Good   AT2492   This rifle looks very familiar for some reason.  Same dcushing seller who had the NK and the 3 unpapered VN bringbacks for the longest time.  Quite a price for such a common year, even in pristine condition.

472902262   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472902262   Russian SKS 7.62x39 * Russia Tula match numbers NO RESERVE, MINT RUSSIAN TULA SKS 7.62 X 39   6   $650.00    1954   Tula   Bubba - Permanent   Good   KB3407   Another gun that gives me the heebie-jeebies.  Hit the BIN after 6 bids.  Likely nothing wrong with this one, but the wood finish sure looks off to me.  Nice of the seller to indicate that the magazine S/N doesn't match, though a photo of that would have been better.

470606442   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470606442   Russian SKS   2   $425.00    1954   Tula   As-Issued   Good   KП7325   Pretty nice one here, especially for the price.  The poor presentation likely scared people off as did the visible charging handle ding on the stock.  Even so, this carbine has lots going for it and $425 was an absolute steal.

473809668   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=473809668   Russian SKS 45 7.62   23   $556.00    1954   Tula   As-Issued   Good   ГЛ8764   Lots of bids, but you can tell people were pretty apprehensive about this one, likely due to the poor detail shots.  I don't know why though, I see nothing that says this one isn't legit.  It's one of the more common years, but it's a nice one.

469148853   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=469148853   1954 Russian SKS TRUE UNISSUED STUNNING! svt   27   $1,226.00    1954   Tula   As-Issued   Very Good   ЛA6039   The stock sold this gun, but man, some of those pictures sure seem selective in exactly what they are showing. Maybe if the seller didn't spew the dreaded "unissued" word I'd be more inclined to give it a pass as that carbine has seen at least some wear.  Certainly a hyped gun description with a high selling price and 27 bids.  Metal does indeed look great.  I'm not sold on the wood though.  Sure looks shiny to me.  Really shiny.  Really really shiny!  Might be the lighting though, who knows. Also not the nice ruby red shellac color that I like  Despite it being brown, the right side photo with the whole stock and the stripe effect certainly helped sell this gun though.  The white fill of the receiver cover and other S/N stamps kind of makes the hairs on the back of my head stand up.  As my man Blicero is wont to say: "This one gives me the heebie-jeebies."

473275502   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=473275502   Russian SKS 7.62x39 ,20 inch barrel Excellent NR   6   $461.00    1954   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   HИ337   Note to sellers: If you want your gun to sell well, take photos that are in FOCUS!  I look at some of these blurry photos that look like they were taken through a dirty window in the middle of a tornado with cows flying across the field of view and wonder how hard is it to snap a set of decent photos?  Anyhow, mini-rant over, Black bolt BBQ with a replacement stock.  Nothing terribly special here.

471434245   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=471434245   Laminated Tula Russian SKS 1954 #s Matching Mint   30   $885.00    1954   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   AЛ6081   This is what happens when a bidding war breaks out between two people determined to have a gun!  Almost $900 worth of regret.  Black BBQ with an XXX'd laminate replacement stock.  You know, looking back on the bid history, there are little 2, 3, and NR feedback guys peppered all through this one.    Certainly causes me to look at 'mbrguns' with an eyebrow raised.

472453723   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472453723   Tula SKS 1954 Excellent Condition, FS with BIN   2   $375.00    1954   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   Unknown   Black BBQ w/ refurb marked receiver cover.  Pretty cheap price for the BIN.

473663254   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=473663254   Russian SKS (1954) Laminate Rifle   1   $520.00    1954   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   Unknown   Black bolt BBQ refurb with a replacement laminate stock and handguard.  Looks to be in decent enough condition.

470741938   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470741938   Russian SKS, 7.62X39 with Bayonet   8   $505.00    1954   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Good   Unknown   Black bolt refurb with a replacement laminate stock & handguard.  Here's one you don't see very often, the auction ended $5 higher than the BIN.  I'm not a betting man, but I'd suspect that the bidder who lost out was probably glad he got outbid.

470533599   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470533599   SKS 1954 Russian Made   12   $681.00    1954   Tula   Uncertain   Good   Unknown   Close to horsetrash presentation.  Without additional photos, this one is a crapshoot.  It could be an awesome deal, could be a total mismatched refurb with a replacement stock.  Nice looking stock and a gold bayo probably helped sell this one.

470645338   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470645338   Russian SKS 7.62X39 Tula 1955   1   $550.00    1955   Tula   Light Refurbished   Fair   CK9407   Mismatched magazine and TG.  Replacement stock.  Bluing sure look like the classic strip and try to reapply to me too.  Many of the late Chinese imports have this matte style bluing finish on them.  Likely to be a good shooter

472144119   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472144119   Russian SKS Tula 1955r 7.62X39 LNC not AK   1   $625.00    1956   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Fair   KB3740_Д   $625 BIN.  I'm not sure who's happier, the buyer or the seller.  There's paint everywhere on this gun.  I'm having a really hard time deciding if that stock is hardwood or laminate, but the lack of the rear cross pin says hardwood.  Either way, it could be original to the gun.  Not a real looker by any means, but probably a solid shooter.

470199363   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470199363   1956 RUSSIAN SKS (SKS-45) 7.62x39 Rifle   5   $700.00    1956   Tula   Bubba - Reversible   Fair   TO5179_Д   The laminate stock looks like it's XXX'd to me, but the photo is so blurry I really can't 100% tell.  Magazine is aftermarket, not sure what type that one is (anyone care to comment on it?)  I'm actually quite surprised this one went for $700.

469915648   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=469915648   {RARE}1949 Russian sks all matching   22   $655.00    1956   Tula   Heavy Refurbished   Fair   TБ6809_Д   Someone might be regretting this one…there's a telltale Д on the receiver S/N and there are absolutely zero "1949" parts on that gun beyond the receiver over.  It's an obvious 1956, black bolt refurb.  Worth $655.00?  It's a stretch.

471853564   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=471853564   Russian SKS early preban ak Russia   23   $615.01    1957   Tula   As-Issued   Good   BO7991_И   Beautiful ruby red shellac on a hardwood stock with a laminate handguard.  Maybe it should have a laminate stock like the one Blicero unloaded last year and that's what kept the lid on this one?  Either way, this is a nice carbine and 6 bills for a nice letter И is not out of hand in my book, especially when the stock could just as easily be original as it could be a replacement.

470259855   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470259855   Russian SKS Rifle Tula 1956 7.62x39mm   1   $535.00    1958   Tula   Light Refurbished   Good   OЮ8529_K   I'm not a huge fan of this gun.  DeeDeeArr, but there are nicer DDR refurbs out there for certain.  Not a bad gun by any stretch of the imagination though.  Seems like a pretty good price.

472313938   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472313938   RUSSIAN SKS - NHM IMPORTER - 7.62x39   13   $393.00    Unknown   Unknown   Bubba - Permanent   Good   Unknown   Unknown date (though it's a post 1956), unknown arsenal, unknown S/N.  Horsetrash presentation.  Bubba got to this one a bit with the stock refinish, the recoil pad, and whatever that monstrosity is on the muzzle.  Still, not a horrible price for a Russian SKS.

475540519   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=475540519   Very Nice Russian SKS   1   $400.00    Unknown   Unknown   Uncertain   Very Good   TO5845   Pretty low BIN, this one could have gone $100 higher I'd bet.

472623606   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472623606   1954r Tula Russian SKS   6   $515.00    Unknown   Unknown   Heavy Refurbished   Good   Unknown   Horsetrash presentation.  Black bolt refurb.  That it sold above the reserve price gives credence to David Hannum possibly being correct in his criticisms of P.T. Barnum.  I do know one thing, that stock sure looks like a replacement to me.

471496329   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=471496329   Russian SKS   1   $500.00    Unknown   Unknown   Uncertain   Uncertain   Unknown   Horsetrash presentation.  Someone had to have it with a $500 BIN though.  Another guy who claims his gun is 'unissued'.  I can only shake my head and wonder what has happened to humanity.

469891027   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=469891027   1951 Russian Tula SKS Package No Reserve 1951 Russian Tula SKS Package No Reserve 7.62x39mm   18   $457.00    Unknown   Unknown   Bubba - Reversible   Fair   Unknown   Lots of bubba accessories to go with this one.  Original stock is XXX'd.  Not much to say on this one.  Someone probably got a great shooter. With all the extras, this was a great deal for the price.

472956705   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472956705   Sweet Russian CCCP Tula SKS Nice   1   $599.99    Unknown   Unknown   Light Refurbished   Fair   ИM780   Too bad about the replacement stock.  Nice gun.

472058389   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=472058389   Russian SKS with Timbersmith stock 7.62x39 1954r   1   $640.00    Unknown   Unknown   Bubba - Reversible   Uncertain   Unknown   Finally sold after 4 tries in March!  BIN of $575.  Black bolt refurb and unknown what parts might mismatch, but the S/N is an honest to goodness '54 Izhevsk.  Not too bad a deal I don't think.

bat1  But, the sling, oh the sweetness, it's a Romanian, and not my belt, its black.

I would have bought it for the sling, and just chucked the rifle. thumb1 chuckles1
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

Nice!

"NIB" is the new light refurb, you need to update your (inflated) grades RM  ::)  rofl

I've come to the opinion that people intentionally take out of focus and limited pics sometimes to obscure reality and hope for a sucker.

I don't belive this to be an original stock, no acceptance stamp, no stamps around crossbolt, but still a nice carbine........... Great Job on starting this auction review back up it is very interesting!!!
Thanks a bunch, but I do think you are going to get burned out thats a lot of work man, but more power to you if you can do it!!!

Heck Jon, I'm going to be a GB pro after all is said and done!  Fuzzy photos, less than truthful descriptions, hyping minutia, hiding mismatching numbers, I'm thinking "yeah I can do all that!"  thumb1

I may very well wind up getting burned out, if so, I'll drop down to only Russians and keep at least this list going.  To be honest, I'm already tracking the Russian auctions looking for pristine examples for the S/N decoding thread, so it's only a small amount of additional work.  Once the spreadsheet is set up, it'll be nice and quick to do each month I think!

I'm probably going to simply post the actual spreadsheet in the Club P&R members area so people can sort all the lists by price, arsenal, year, condition, etc. with the click of a button.  That is actually quite a nice thing to be able to do as it makes trends really clear in a hurry!

Damn Joe, you're putting in a ton of work into these.  Glad your retired and have all the free time.

Looks good to me.  Thanks for doing all the heavy lifting so we don't have to.

We're almost at the end of April, I finally got off my rear and got the analyitics done.  Now that I've got the template, everything from here on out will be cake.

Downloadable PDF is here.

Crappy image that doesn't fit on our boards & remain readable is here:

It looks like the averages are running around $600 for an avg. Tula, $787 for an avg. Izhevsk, ~$750 for your avg. as-issued, and ~$875 for an avg. very good condition gun.  I broke it down by "arsenal condition" (as-issued, light refurb, etc.) as well as by "current condition" (VG, good, fair, etc.), hopefully the layout isn't too convoluted.  Basically, you follow the column and follow the row and where they meet, that's your data for those subsets of data.  I wanted to get a list of all the "as-issued", "good condition" guns of XXXX year and YYYY arsenal, but that would have required 4 dimension arrays and there's no easy way to show that simply on a single sheet.

Anyhow, as always, let me know if this is useful.  If it's not overly useful or confusing, please let me know as I can spend my time more wisely on other projects.  thumb1

Even though I have absolutely no desire for another Russian, I still find it all very interesting, impressive chart thingy you got there. thumb1

I'll say it, once,   you da man thumb1   so don't let it swell your braincover cause I aint repeating it..
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

The nice thing is it is all auto updating now.  So if next month we have 100 guns instead of 50 it's no problem.   I'm likely going to upload the excel spreadsheet itself to a portion of the boards accessible only by contributing members so they can have everything in one spiffy file.  I might make a little filter thingy in that file too...pick the parameter you want (as-issued, VG condition, 1953, Izhevsk, and it spits out the avg. and high low for the month.

At the end of 2015, I will be able to combine all the data sets and it will spit out a yearly average and yearly high/lows for every category.  thumb1

Amazing work running-man...thank you for your herculean efforts.

No worries Danny, it's no herculean, just takes some upfront thought to try and be efficient with it.  I'm glad you find these useful.  It's hard to gauge the interest in these but there's no doubt that there's a ton of info in them.  I'm hoping that any guest reading these gets an account and joins in the discussion on these.

I've got the Special (formerly NVA/EG/NK) page done.  The Romys, Albys, and Yugos are done as well.  Russians are half done and that only leaves the Chinese (which are about the same as last month).  I think I'll have the entire set done before the 10th, which would be great.  There is definitely a ton less work this second month as I don't have to generate the spreadsheet, I just have to fill in the blanks and it is auto-updating (mostly) like it should.  I found a few bugs, a couple cell callout errors that were hidden last month, etc.  Every month I'll be able to weed out errors in the spreadsheet until it's rock solid.

There are some really interesting Russians this month, and far, far fewer Yugos.  Albys and Romys jumped from one or two last month to at least 5 of each type this month.   thumb1

I would bet the interest is more than you think, remember back in the day when you first got into these sks carbines, I bet you would have loved something this great, all the questions on how far of a leap one should take on a particular gun. It's also nice for the veterans to see what the going rate is and the damn I should have watched that auction a little closer :o moment........ We all look forward to the day you post up the months report, we can't thank you enough for taking the time to make this site that much better!!!
Thanks
Tony
