Yeah I may or may not continue the Chinese listings. They are quite a bit more work than the Russians and even the Yugos. I think I'll try one more cycle and see how much discussion they generate. If people only talk about one gun in the whole list of 120, it's probably not worth continuing.

Well, my opinon , if'en your just after collector grade, certain number series, or particular specimens, cut out the irreversible mall ninja masturbation specials, that would knock at least a third of them out, boom. Export modification is one thing, but if they are butchered beyond saving, there ain't much to talk about, short of shake your head in amazement or amusement and point and snicker..   Technically, even a fluff and buff refinished stock is borderline irreversible depending on the finish used and or if it's been rawhided on with 36 grit and all the markings are now a pile of dust.

I've certainly thought of going that route...unfortunately, by the time I open up the GB listing, look at the gun, and make that determination, 2/3 of the work has already been done.  I might leave out the RM notes.  They aren't that funny and they suck up quite a bit of time!

I've got "Bubba - Reversible" and "Bubba - Permanent" current condition states for all guns.  The way I define them is:

Bubba - Reversible: It's in plastic or has been dressed in aftermarket goodness but has all (and I mean all) the original condition, original S/N'd components.  It has a bipod, muzzle break, recoil pad, bolt carrier buffer, or easily removable scope mount that does not affect being able to put the gun back into as-imported condition.

Bubba - Permanent: Refinishing the stock in any way shape or form, rebluing, duracoating/painting, cutting the barrel, drill and tap anywhere, bayo lug modifications, and finally aftermarket anything with the original part not sold with the rifle.  While you can get them close, they will *never* return to what they were as-imported.

I might just cut them down to make "Bubba - Reversible" be "as-issued"/"refurbished" (whatever the gun in original non-bubba condition would warrant) and then make "Bubba - Permanent" simply "Bubba".  One less criteria would likely help with the workload.

Is that a t63 sticker?  Man I look at it now and it still doesn't pop out to me as being anything different than a std t56 spike.  You know those better than I though.

It's only April 29th...about time I finished the Chinese analysis.  Any future ones will be done automatically by the CPU thankfully (now that the hard work has been done). 

It's nice to see that my current condition grading is at least showing consistency with perfect guns priced higher then excellent, excellent higher than VG, VG higher than good, good higher than fair, etc. 

Again, we'll see if I keep up the listings...I may simply just categorize them and there you have raw data and no humorless RM notes, we'll see.  Debating where I want (need) to put standard deviation stuff in along with the min, avg, and max.  Not really a big need for them as I'd suspect nobody but Jon would even know what that was anyhow (me included , I'd need to crack open my college stats books again)

You should ditch the Romanian & Albanian job. They're a small enough market that people can garner their own market gauge in 10 minutes. Chinese is clearly the most popular field so stick with it. You can abandon the Russian one too if the Chinese is that much of a monster to handle. You'll never be as good as the last guy who did the Russian jobber anyway. Sort of like watching Didi Gregorious after Jeter, or any Miami QB since Marino. Oh god here we go...cue up the Tannehill is the next Legend speech...

Truth is, it's the same amount of work to get Chinese with Russians Romanians and Albanians as it is without.  Now that the hard work of setting up the template is done, I think future months are going to be much easier. I'm pulling April sales tonite, we'll see how it goes. Hope to have everything up before the 10th! 

I was just thinking, there's no way I could do as good a job as the legend himself on Ruskies.  I do my best, but it's just not quite the same.  RIP Boomer!
