Finally got a chance to burn some powder today using Wolf 123 grain black box. At 25 yards the first group, as you can see, was high and to the right. I brought the next 4 rounds high into the chest area and the last four were more or less centered around the bullseye.
I guess the trigger group was refurbed too (like new) as it still has most of the blueing on the face of the hammer, it has obviously seen very little use. But the trigger was a joy to work with, it was smooth as glass and let off quickly. Is this common with the Russian carbines as opposed to the nightmare Chinese triggers?
There is a pretty good spread in each group but I was having an off day, with a steadier hand I believe I can tighten them up a little. I plan on some hunnert yard shooting tomorrow!
