hi i am a 78 year old VN ARMY vet,   trained with a M14 in basic training at fort ord ca in 1967. got a brand new M16 issued to me in VN, yes full auto can be fun if you are not  getting shot at. Hobbies are Mustle cars from the 60s, anything with a V8 engine in it. About 10 years ago i pretty much sold most of my C&R guns and ammo because CA is such a anti gun state to live in.Wish i kept my 2 mosin PU snipers  [ real ] but i did not. My other hobbie was motorcycles . sport bikes and a few HDs.  But at 78 i figured it was time to move on.
So i needed something to do and figured i would get a few C&Rs  Never sold my trusty 1967 type 56 and still have a lot of Wolf ammo for it. just bought a new Polish AK and love it. Also bought a VZ 24 cuzz it is just as good as a K98 and was only 500 bucks.
My best VN buddy has a VN bring back SKS with his paper work. his son will get it some day.

But they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of Independence from any who might attempt to abuse them. echo1
