What is this arsenal number?

Hi everyone, I can’t make out the first number on this arsenal number. I could not find it on any of the arsenal lists. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Only thing I can figure it would be is a poorly stamped /26\. How many digits in the SN?

It's factory /26\. Stamp broke and they did not rectify it but instead continued to use it for some time. I have several examples of this stamp, all with the same damage and all in a certain S/N range.

Thanks! That is very interesting! The serials are not that far off indicating at the very least 21,608 have these broken stamps. I wonder how many made it through this way.

There were likley  multiple /26\ stamps being used. But the "broken" arsenal stamp is fairly common on the 3rd year rifles that I've seen.

My hypothesis is that the broken stamp is related to the transition to full Chinese control and oversight of sks production at Jianshe.
