Frig! I'm an idiot. Could have fired one of these in Cambodia a few yrs ago.  .The range employees just called it a ckc,( the name for sks in south-east Asia).
Well, hopefully that baby is still there next year when I get back to the same range.

Great info on this rifle! Never seen so much detailed info and pics on her. Thanks!

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Interesting photo of a couple of Type 63s in use by the UCPMB in Kosovo in 2001.

The milled Type 56 w/o buttstock in the foreground is interesting too.

Almost looks like the pic had been "photoshopped". Wondering if the guy's buttstock broke at the rear trunion because the back of the receiver is open. No rear trunion plate to make it look complete and you can see the guy's shoulder patch on his left arm.
My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.

That milled AK looks wonky in that pic. Almost looks like the dust cover is cocked at an angle. Or, the receiver is missing at least part of the left side? I can't figure that one out.
