any idea what a original K98 sling complete rig goes for these days

i got a guy that needs one and i cant find any for sale to gauge what to ask for it

well , the leather markings were long gone , the cross hatch was still good , the clasp had correct makers mark, leather was still very pliable , i gave it to him for a saw buck , im ok with that he bought a hood and a cleaning rod too , thanks

I’ve been there, done that, bought the T-shirt!  rofl

That sling is definitely worn. $100 was a good price but you didn’t leave a ton of meat on the bone.

thanks , didnt want to over charge but didnt want to give it away , i couldnt find a single one for sale to gauge it so im thinking they are scarce these days all together
