I lie, it is in with the 5 pending NK guns to be uploaded and put in the database.  Was on sale on GunBroker for $4k in Jan of this year.  I don't think it sold, but the listing is old enough that it dropped off and I can't go back and look at it to see that it did or didn't.  Either way, it's a relatively nice one.

I saw another Type 63 on Facebook the other day. It was brought back by the son's dad and he had the full set of paperwork, Vietnamese and US documents. Really cool!

It won’t become mine. I hope the son keeps it in the family (as he says he plans to), but seeing that it hasn’t been posted by anyone I’ll share the already public pictures the owner posted on Facebook. Note: the original USN Senior Chief PO who brought it back is deceased.

It's interesting that both of the issuing agencies, US and Vietnamese cites it as a Chicom weapon.  I wonder if the intelligence agencies ever twigged on the fact that the NK regime was supplying the NVA or Vietcong.  Thanks P32!!!

I was hoping to add a North Korean and an East German to go along with my North Vietnamese rifle but increasing health problems have dictated it's time to stop making acquisitions and to start parting with my stuff.
