That is interesting that “original” is one of those words that’s the same in both English and German. Etymologically they’re both derived from the Latin originalis.

Okay, I’ll bite on that teaser  :)) What’s the “neat history”?

Just in general I mean. I did a lot of research on these knives, tons of going down rabbit holes of info.

Most definitely! I’ve been keeping an eye out. Haven’t really been pushing the issue though. If you see one let me know  thumb1

If I recall correctly, they use the same hanger that the SA dagger uses.

I actually did have an extra, but I let it go the my SA dagger when I started selling off my third reich militaria.

If anyone wants a smaller instant collection of medals, pins, and badges, let me know.
