...and I'd love a Mosin carbine in 7.62x39. There have been pictures of some rare trials (truly trials rifles) from the former USSR but no known examples in the US.

Bah... M08 probably has like 17 stashed in his pile, he just forgot about them..

I think Finland tinkered with the idea too..

Some did escape the Ukraine.. where they ended up is anyone's guess.
