Been fiddling around with this build lately.... I'll get an update pic when done. These are pretty cool when built with a real hammer fired FCG. This one has a HK91 inside.

2 SKS parts here, the latch spring is obvious but the bayo hinge, not so much.....

Thanks guys. This ones not for sale. I bought the parts set some 6 years ago and just now got around to putting it together. I sourced a Browning Gold 10 bolt link that makes the HK FCG a practical fit. And it uses FAL dual recoil springs to power the carrier. Runs pretty slick with only 75 rounds of wolf 7.63x39 as tested so far.
Heres the Browning link in front of a custom turned recoil plunger.

The barrel is .308 groove diam. SS finned as some day I want to make up match ammo and see what the tuned trigger can print.  Dang house work keeps getting in the way of this more fun stuff. I got a portable saw mill in a box in my shop with 43 pine saw logs stacked up waiting for me to make lumber for a couple buildings I need.  :(

Yup, you used it and liked it (but plate), I saw a picture of it and liked it. When I bought a M1A in 1977, I liked the flip up butt and thought it would be a neat idea on a 18 pound gun.

Still not done but its getting closer.......  17.4 lbs empty and 21 lbs with the 75 rds in the sack as pictured and the handle balances out perfectly in the hand! Bipod can go vertical for prone and legs extend 4 notches out, folds up tight to the wood and are QD. Just a real fun build. :)
