So for a long time now I have been wanting needing a good 1911, as it was on my "must haves!" List.  Good ole Blicero came through with a trade deal I couldn't refuse. Its a nice Remimgton R1 he says only received 20 rounds down the pipe.  Still looking for the disassembly tool and second mag.  Why I autta...

If Adam doesn't have room in his closet among his SKSs I can take it off your hands.  I've got about 1000 rounds of US surplus Ball M1911 on the way that needs another pistol to help eat it.

Bah.... Nope.   Just a little oil after getting the little mud chinks out of the checkering on the left side.

Well dang. That blemish was the only reason I got rid of the gun. Well, that and it became mind-numbingly boring shooting dime-sized groups thanks to those newfangled user friendly 1911 sights. I want it back!

All boxed up ready to go back....But I did manage to run a few thousand rounds through it first.

Laugh!  Man Travis, you should know better than to deal with Kevin without dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's first!  He totally jacked up my poor pristine ugly Betty yugo!  That thing was clean as a whistle and in tip top shape when I sent it to him. I had even cleaned up the internals and even made sure the firing pin was perfect! 

Yup then I get a pm from him saying he had dropped it on a boulder and damaged it, and then when he was unnecessarily cleaning it he managed to break the firing pin retainer!  What a disaster!!
