Picked up this 13 mil from my favorite seller at the local gun show today. He's a Vietnam USN vet and he was selling a few items for his friend, the surviving brother of his 'Nam vet sibling, who tragically departed the Earth three years ago.

It looks like the stock was badly broken by a sideways blow, like swinging it at the ground. It was pinned all over with brass pins and glued and had at least a partial recoat of lacquer or shellac. I'm not touching it, just part of it's history now. The brass cross bolt is remarkable. Fits great inside, really fine work.

All the numbers match down to the EP'd gas piston and the bluing is in great condition. No import marks anywhere, and I scoured every square centimeter under fluorescent lights and sunlight. The bayonet bolt is still staked.

Very nice P32!!!  What does that brass crossbolt look like on the inside where the receiver should rest?

Thanks RM!  It looks like an SKS crossbolt should. It's quite well done.

Oh, of course it didn't come with papers, or I would have posted them. But I took it home for a beater SKS price...I didn't even haggle  :))

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Laugh, look at these guys humping your leg like over excited puppies!   dance3 explode1 negative1

That crossbolt is probably the neatest thing I've seen this month.  Whoever made that had some mad skills and a decent mill.  Can't even see any file marks on it & the edges are chamfered to perfection.  thumb1

Color me green with envy.  drool2

I don't think 12s and 13s with inverted levers had the recess. It was probably done after the fact.
