M59 Long Barrel # 021

 It arrived!

20-1/8"  22-5/32" barrel, bolt face to crown.

Bore is excellent, bluing is very good save for a few scuffs. Stock is mismatched, 012, and you can see an old high SN has been sanded off. I wonder if it got mixed up with #012 during preservative treatment or if Slobodan was dyslexic    Bolt, bolt carrier, receiver rail and rear of receiver, and inside of receiver cover have SN 021. Assembly number on trigger guard. No number on the pristine gas piston in a quick examination.  I'm going out of town in a few minutes to see if there are any deer in northern WA but thought I'd quickly throw up a few pics. Enjoy!

I'm quite sure of the measurement but I'll doublecheck on Monday.

It was either 12 and 14 or 13 and 14, I thought the latter, if I recall correctly. I wish I had recorded the numbers.

For someone who has been trying to land a paratrooper for much of my SKS collecting career...I am so jealous for you few who were able to get these long'uns

Yet another gorgeous specimen!  I really like the stock, if 012 isn't as nice I would be hard pressed to swap it myself....although chances are you would have a better match with the hand guard.

Congrats!! Glad so many of these made it into the hands of SKS-Files members.  Go Team!

    The dangers of re-reading on my phone, I was looking at the fraction and overlooked that I typed a 0 instead of a 2.  It is 22-5/32" long
