QuoteThanks fokes. These are just a few of my favorites.  I assume I have to have a certain post count in order to post in the for sale section? I have a vintage red star scope I am looking to sale/trade off.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Blicero

I can slide you into the trader when you sell me the m1. I need more. Always more. You should start a fresh post in the American section. I want to see more of the 1917. Winchester or Rem? Original barrel? Serial?

"I don't appreciate you showing Nazi images. My old lady's granddad died at Auschwitz."
"I'm sorry to hear that..."
"Yeah...he fell off a guard tower."

I think Blicero has enough by the way it sounds. I need to add more wood to my collection. Just got an AR and I need to offset the plastic LOL. Oh wait, I found a SKS to keep it company. Pics in a couple weeks when I actually get to go pick it up.

Yep, Im a steel and wood guy.  The M1917 is an Eddystone, which technically a Remington built in the Eddystone PA plant. Original barrel, and a tack driver. Love that rifle. And you would have to fight the kids for the M1's either the Garand or the carbine. They are always arguing who gets what guns when I'm dead.. I keep telling them that I am going to have a shoot off with each gun in the collection. Who scores best with that particular gun, gets that gun. I have 3 grown sons, and a daughter about to head off to college, and none of my sons want to work it out that way, because my daughter will out shoot all of them with all the guns.. lol..  My baby is dangerous.. lol.

Good for you and those boys best watch out for her. I learned the hard way by losing a competition to a girl early on that they are dangerous!  thumb1

I find that women that are into shooting, in many cases end up out shooting most men. We are a huge firearm family, and everyone old enough to have a concealed firearm permit has one. My daughter will be 18 soon, but she is chomping at the bit to be able to get her permit. She shoots anything and everything in my safes with extreme competence. She is lethal to a man's ego for sure.. lol..  She is a lady, but tough as nails being raised with 3 boys. I have no fear that my baby girl can take care of herself if I weren't around..

Any appreciation for the lever actions? One from my lever action section. A pristine 1956 Winchester model 94 in 30-30. This rifle literally has only 20 rounds fired from it, ever. I got it out of a Texas rancher's collection where all his rifles were 2nd to none. This one he was the original owner of it. He bought two boxes of rounds with it when he purchased it in 1956. He shot one box of rounds from it, then put it with the 2nd box in his safe where it sat until I acquired it with that 2nd box of rounds. When he purchased it, he had this rare scope and mount set up on it. It is a era correct Redfield M294 scope mount (rare and collectible in it's own right), with an era correct Redfield Z29608 2X scope. This has been on this rifle since it was originally delivered to the original owner. 100% condition and finish. I am really proud of this rifle.

Also, ya can't talk about lever actions without at least mentioning "Henry". Two more of my prides are my matching set of Henrys. Henry Big Boy chambered in .357 Mag, and Golden Boy chambered in .22lr.  These are when I want to go out shooting with my Grandson. He loves to match G'Pa. ;)

I'm trying. Halfway there before I can post in the classified area..  Will I run out of guns, or post counts first? lol

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."
