300 round 12.7 ammo can

I traded for this awhile ago along with a few other items. I just had a friend ask me if I would sell it, I hate the what's it worth question and hate asking even more but seriously "what's it worth?"  I can't seem to find a 300 round case of 50 cal. anywhere on line. It appears to be south African ammo ( a80 r1m3 headstamp)
Is it worth more as a lot? Or individually?

A local shop here will sell a 100rds unbelted, I think it's reman stuff around $400, no clue on actual type or maker. Also no idea on if the belt is a benefit or hindrance in price, as most people wont have a belt fed weapon, but there are those that do.

I have researched for days looking up prices and have yet to come up with a current price for the a80 r1m3 in a 100 round lot let alone a 300 round case.

Another thing is it may be berdan primed and non-reloadable. I don't know for sure, but the possibility is there.

It is berdan primed so it cannot be reloaded.
