Hey I am trying to find out more about this rifle.  Someone said maybe it was a Vietnam bringback, but I am not sure.  I looks like it would have been made in 67 and is has no import marks, but looks in to good of shape to have been through a war.  Should all SKS that have come in have the importer stamped on them?  Or was this only after a certain date?  this was my father in laws an it was found under the bed with a Poly Technologies AK47 that was new in the box.  I have no Idea where he got it from.   He was not in Vietnam though.

Thanks,

Tom

Good looking carbine Tom but I'm not versed enough to answer your questions. I guarantee you though that someone that knows something will be along. Having a matching stock is pretty neat.

Welcome to the "files"!

It very well coule be a non papered bringback....  unless it came across the border from Canada prior to their 5 round pinned mag law.   We rarely see bringbacks in this condition.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.
