59 letter gun

Just got another sks. 1959 all matching letter gun. Is an I.O. NC import.

2 things I have found. the /26\ is have under the wood line

and I think this may be some trench art.

The sub 61 guns range drastically in terms of positioning and clarity or the /26\ stamp.  Tilted, high, low, light ,deep... etc.

I also have an H  (H3333) still in cosmo...   one of my favorite IO batch guns.

Great score imho.

I have one with "BD" engraved in the stock, a little more toward the butt on the other end of the wrist.  I figured it was somebody's initials until another guy posted about the same initials on HIS .  Now I don't know what they signify.
