Happy to have two SVT's in my collection: a 1941 Izhevsk and a 1941 Poldosk.

The Izhevsk is a bit of a mess - refurbished, none of the numbered parts match and I had to restock it in an AVT-40 stock because some shaped a pistol grip into the original stock. (Nicely done, but not appropriate).

The Poldosk is a bit nicer. It's also an arsenal refurb (with plum colored metal), but the numbered parts match (the bolt carrier as force matched).

Of course, I have my eyes out for reasonably priced Tula... 😉

Very nice pair.  There is nothing wrong with a non matching refurbed SVT-40 though. 100 times better than not having one at all. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice pair. I only have one SVT-40. You certainly got the hard one out of the way, with that Podolsk  thumb1  8)

I kind of fell into it...the seller was trying to finance another project so it was a pretty sweet deal to boot!
