A few months back I saw this SKS for sale. In Canadian funds it was a steal nowadays. Worked out to around $310.00 U.S. dollars. Still had cosmoline on it, as you can see on receiver.

I like it! Do you know where these are imported from? Does the mag rivet identify the time frame for when it was imported?

No idea about time frame or importer. I saw that a dealer back east was selling bladed Chinese SKS lately. No idea how they are pinned. This one was a private sale and I did not ask where he bought it from and when. It was still wrapped in a plastic bag and them boxed.

Nice little carbine.  Wood looks great, unusual to see a year 8 with wood that nice unless its a Public Security marked carbine.  Some importer must have come upon a well stored stash.    thumb1
