Have you ever seen a Chinese SKS with grenade launcher?

Have you guys ever seen an SKS with a grenade launcher on it besides a Yugoslavian model? This guy that I’ve been getting all these guns from lately says he has a Chinese SKS with a grenade launcher on it. I’m trying to get them to send me some pictures, but personally, I’ve never seen one short of Yugoslavian. Thanks.

I know there was a removable one, but not totally sure which countries made it. I do seem to recall the north Koreans had one as well as maybe the Romanians. Hopefully one of the other guys will chime in who know better.

Yeah. Might be a NK. If it is, ask him his price. If the price is $1k to $2k and it's not trashed, you pay what he asks as quickly as possible.

The caveat is if he didn't know at all what he has and wants only $300 for it.  If he's selling on consignment for a widow I'd make him a more 'fair' offer but wouldn't go up to full retail.  If he's a pawn shop style guy making profit for himself and didn't do his homework, I'd walk out with a $300 NK...

He says he is admits making a mistake and now thinks it’s a Yugo but he’s gonna take it to the gun show and sell it for $1400 now I paid $500 for my Ugo some years back but I cannot imagine a Hugo going for $1400 that seems greedy or just plain crazy unless it was during the shortage I just don’t see it happening

Yeah, M59/66s are going for $550 to $850 at best. And the $850 ones have to be absolutely pristine with all the accessories and log book. If the Launcher is removable though, it's not an M59/66 as those are threaded on. It may behoove you to get pics to see what he has, if it IS a NK, it is worth several thousand $$ and if it's in half way decent shape I'd pay the $1400 and run.

To be honest, until I came to this website. I had no idea that those rare launchers (which remind me of M1 Garand launchers) existed. Before that I was only aware of the integral Yugo 59/66 versions. Nope, never seen a Chinese launcher in person and I also own a lot of military small arms books and never seen one in a book either.
