Hi Gunners,

I just throughout an "I'll take it" on a very nice Hakim rifle ammo and bayo package. It's more or less a push on cost from a '69 Albanian SKS I recently moved. The market is kinda tough across the board for old iron these days but I'm happy and have a '70 Alby left. The common Euro rifles are nearing the prices they should be pulling considering how scarce they are.
Here's a couple crappy pictures of the Hakim. I can't nail down if it been humped or a MADDI refurb (?) and it's just too clean to have seen action. It says 1971 but I thought that was past the production years. At any rate it's totally cool if kinda contraptiony in function. I can see how it'd crush your thumb :-[ PAX

It was the picts from the ad, it wouldn't paste the copy image. It's the nicest one I've seen  but a push with regards to an Alby I just moved, actually a little cheaper with 200 rounds of 8mm. That stuff can be pricy if boxed commercial. PAX

All ammo has gone up it seems except 9mm and 5.56.  There are definitely deals to be had out there if you look though!

DELAY OF GAME. The Hakim fella hadn't posted or bumped his ad in a month. He moved one state over, instead of 30 miles away he's 700. The ammo is too $pendy to ship. We're in the "working out the details" mode. I told him I was still wanting the Hakim but at reduction in price without the ammo.  :( PAX

The Hakim guy just happened to be in my neck of the woods. Started the DROS on that bad boy this morning and he hand delivered the ammo. It's too boss, PAX

The year of manufacture is 1961; the Arabic “6” looks like a 7.

Gunboards consensus is it is a 1961 MAADI refurb, based mainly on the staking screws being fixed with black wire, fresh stamped factory mag and paint, gentle stock refinish (not aggressively sanded). No refurbed marks are used by the factory. Serial is 500039, PAX
