I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

Read the entire article.  Take aways:
--Stainless steel bolt carrier?
--At least clean the bore and functioning parts of cosmoline before firing.
--If you burn a stock, the thinnest areas will burn through and break.
--Canadians consider maple syrup to be a lubricant.
--Tannerite not only works to kill hogs (other videos), it works on SKS's as well.
--In 2015 you could buy a Russian SKS for $179.00.

Thanks GM thumb1

I think their goal was to just have fun and generate a story that got readers to check it out.

Their "test" wasn't much of a test in my opinion. ::)  Don't you need multiple rifles and a control rifle group for a real test?  Sure I take things too seriously sometimes..... chuckles1 chuckles1

Plus the world has one less Russian SKS.  :(

Our Canadian brothers to the north should be ashamed of that article.  Firing 3-4 rounds into the base stock of the SKS proved what?  ::)

Just the Canadian version of idiots, "Hey hoser, hold my Molson, watch this!"

Yep. Demolition Ranch wannabe's?

Pretty shoddy 'science' there.  Mythbusters would be proud of them that they didn't put a cannonball through someone's front door though.
