My latest M59 Spotter

Got this one on the way. I was shocked to see that it still had the knurled knob on the mount  . I would love to find a ON-2 scope for it.....but realize that they are quite flippen rare.....I'll shoot some better pics upon arrival.

Sweet man, it's a beauty. I remember seeing that one because of the scope mount, wasn't that the one they had listed as a 59/66 and had a sort of generic description of a 59/66, grenade launcher and such ? Anyway, nice M59.

Indeed they did. I'm pretty sure it has no integral launcher....lol. Can't wait to see the barrel interior.....

Thanks....From the photos I had, it appears to be in pretty decent shape. I know Joe used to have an ON-2 set up....but it sold.....someone must have one somewhere!!

I did find an original sling and oil can/pouch.....and I have an e-mail in to someone overseas about the scope.....I'm hoping for a positive response.....but I am not holding my breath....

I guess there are people who collect......people who collect and actually shoot their rifles....and people who collect, shoot and sell and horse trade for more/different rifles......is one of these more important or more important than another.......or is it just you? I personally don't sit on a ever growing collection.......I find it rather enjoyable.

It does seem like you post you just bought one and then the next day its on GB for sale, I would be careful if you are using a C&R because that is not what it is intended for. Just my opinion...
