Nice AK! Have a few nice variants myself, but haven’t been able to track down a Preban at price I can live with!

I only have 14 yrs 10 months payments left on this rifle!!

That's very nice but probably above my pay grade, love that wood. I am actually searching for a wood stocked WASR right now.
I have a nice Romanian G underfolder with an early Nodak Spud receiver. Gave $700 for it. Also have a Saiga AK-74 Sporter that I converted to a pistol grip, metal side folding stock, new trigger etc that I have maybe $400 in it. Recently got a VSKA Trooper that I decked out in FDE Magpul furniture. About $825 in that one. So, if I can get that WASR for somewhere around a $1000 my self-enabling math says that I will have an average of about roughly $750 in each rifle and in today's market that ain't bad.
I have to grow old but I don't have to grow up...

That is a very nice AK  8) I love the factory 66 marking. It looks like a 1991.

I settled for a just post-ban (1994) MAK-90 four years ago.

Nice Type 56! Looks to be in really great shape. Which importer? I have an Armco import underfolder. Ya gotta love the Chinese AK's!  thumb1

Importer is Sile, Ny Ny.  Yes very nice one. Has small crack in upper handguard that was fixed no finish where it was sanded. Probably a good thing as I can now make it match myself.

There are going to be two types of people in this world , those without toilet paper , and those with plenty of ammo to protect their toilet paper
