As promised, here are some photos of the NVA that i "won" on gunbroker.  The bolt is a couple hundred off for serial but is also an nva.  I was expecting the import documents to be photo copies but was pleasantly surprised to hear from the seller that there were actually two sets of paperwork.  The previous owner had added a NOS bayonet so I swapped it out with a unit that showed some use and had some pitting on the blade.

I’d be very pleased with that one. Good photos of the original paper work and copies. You nabbed a good one.

So you're the one that ran the bid up....!!  :D   very nice rifle.    One day I'll nab one of these for what I'm willing to pay for it...  ( i hope ).   Congrats on this.

Thank you everyone!  The final bid was $3,875.  Luckily, it was less than what i had budgeted for.  I'm glad that it showed up on Gunbroker.  The 20% buyer fees that the big auction houses charge are a killer.

I've been trying to pick up at least one really interesting piece to my Vietnam collection annually.   Last year, I found a 1966 dated Russian makarov rig with 7th Air Cav capture docs.  Now, I'm on the hunt for a North Korean and East German to add to the fold.

Awsome rifle... just now seeing the post up of the photos.  I would love to have that one in my collection too.
