So this rifle has a great backstory and its why I always call it my Y2K rifle,

Just after Y2k passed. I located an Fn Fal on nickelads for $700. I knew this was a good price, also because the rifle came with 17 20Rd ex-military mags and also 750rds of Spanish and Swedish 7.62x51 in ammo cans and a few black leather pouches for 20rd mags that I suspect were German or Austrian because they are made like german WW2 ammo belt pouches for mausers.

The guy selling told me he bought this rifle for Y2k for his prepper gear for the end of the world and since the date passed he felt he did not need such a rifle anymore (ROFL) Who thinks like that? You always need firearms for zombies and communists. I bought it. He also had a garage full of military MREs but was not selling those. (what good is food without firearms and ammo?) LOL Anyway its one of the top deals I have ever scored. Its an Enterprise Arms receiver on an Austrian parts kit.

But they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of Independence from any who might attempt to abuse them. echo1
