Yes I agree. More Porn !!  Thats a perfect example RM. The detailed running wood grain along with the dull gray finish on that bayonetted alone sets these guys in a class of their own. Not to mention they are the best shooters in the family. And Ive never met a M59 that didnt have a tint of that romantic musky aroma of leftover cosmoline when pressed up against the ol cheek,,

100% agree with that.  The Tectyl 502C used on the Yugos has an aroma unlike any of the other cosmoline/grease variants used by the other countries!

Matchka, sounds like you're seeing the part numbers and maybe mistaking them for S/Ns.  Yugos often have part numbers stamped or etched into *everything*.  In my book this is not an indication of much of anything, though there are two camps: one that believes part numbers indicates it's a replacement part and the other that believes the part numbers indicate original parts with a different marking method.  There's no consensus, nor hard data that I'm aware of that swings one way or the other  As such, that and $3 will get you a coffee at Starbucks.

I would've thought that at least the magazine and carrier cover would follow the 'conventional' stamping like a Chicom - but what the heck. I only have one 59 so I guess that's the way Zastava did theirs.
