I'll Never Do That Again...

As you might have seen in my other post "To Sell Or Not To Sell", I was in a quandary about getting rid of any iron, just because it's all irreplaceable for what I had into them. In the first couple days I hadn't gotten any PMs, (which was OK by me), then suddenly I got a bunch. I initially posted 3 SKSs for "X" ducats, or 2 for "X", or a single buy slight more $.

The first guy was an 03 and wanted all C&Rs. So the only ding in that lot for me, was a letter gun with matchin furniture that had been refinished at some point. The other 2 were typical "cracked stock specials", matching metal bits with replacement wood. Nice just not correct. His lot was Cash & Carry

The second fella was going through an 01 FFL so it didn't mater to him, although 3 were C&R per ATF anyway. One was cobbled together with the wrong stock and bayo (looked good), another with substitute wood, and an ALBY. He also got a pinned barrel in a Tapco T6 for a total of 4 SKSs. He wanted to take a look at my sport Enfield too, but I forgot it back at the barn. He also gave a quick once over of an 8MM FN49 he had inquired about...

So 2 guys got 7 rifles. 4 more fellas contacted me wanting singles and/or C&R. I had to put the brakes on.
My remaining rifles are all matching Russian, Romanian, Albanian, Yugoslavian, or Chinese...then there's the Paratroopers & Bubbas.

If anyone has an extra SKS to sell, and don't gouge too stiff, list them on Calguns. They'll move.

On a stupid Kali side note, the FFL said I had to pull the bayos off. I told him to double check with the DOJ, because the blade Chinese came from an FFL like that (staked), and Alby was staked too and had never been removed, doing so could hurt the value. So he called the DOJ, the Alby was GTG but all the Chinese had to come off, which was incorrect, the blade no, spiker maybe (but it was a '63 by date). Kali is so screwed up.

I hate to sell my stuff, even if it's to free up ducats for other iron. I'm not doing that again. Tomorrow I'm picking up a 10/22 Fun Gun to help ease my pain. PAX
