Just a follow up on this thread.  We took a couple SKS's over the range yesterday and shot my friend Ray's gun with 3 different magazines.  It functioned perfectly, So maybe, just maybe we'll have a new SKS fan coming aboard before long.  He put about 100 rounds down range with not 1 hiccup.  It was nice to see!   Thanks again all....
