It's funny that he's got the rifle covered with burlap but the scope cover is up and the lens facing (and likely reflecting) the sun.

I wonder: who ended up with his rifle after he took a round to the forehead?

I've seen the afghans do the same, the idea (and it actually translates better than you might think) is to make people think you're a sandbag. which are often all over the place especially on rooftops. as for the glint, hope hes got a honeycomb on the outside lens
