I've been out of the SKS loop for a while, but couldn't resist picking up this one that turned up locally. I ended up nearly financing it by selling off a 90% matching example-a pretty cheap upgrade.

Stock has a bit of wear, but it's almost certainly the nicest Izhevsk I'll run across, so it was a must buy.

Armslist. The seller wasn't shipping (and since it doubtlessly wasn't going to sell for anywhere near its worth locally, yet was over the budget point of the Tapco set), I let it "marinate" for a while to soften up the price.

Stock doesn't look to be too worn, cartouche's everywhere, great looking metal, golden bayonet, serials look to be matching...all I can say is

Oh Man thats a beauty ! The 54's always seem to have that darker beautiful amber look then the more blonde 53's. You did really good ol Relic. You surround and protect that thing with all your Chi-coms Yugos Romys ect for he is the King : )
