Hey all

I'm thinking of picking up a Tapco gas tube to add a rail for a red dot optic on my SKS. Has anyone done this?

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

If you do mean Tapco, not sure it would hold zero mounted on the gas tube, it has the chance to move, and you would be removing it and putting it back on when cleaning the rifle.

Those are just my thoughts on it.  Someone else may chime in that has done it and have more detail
I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning.

I have one I never actually used, more or less wanted to see what it was. I should put it back on ebay. up to you, but I think it would get a bit hot after a while. better than the midwest ak version, though.

easy enough to make stable with fitment and some set screws, though.
