Welp,  this isn't how I like to acquire rifles.....

My father inlaw just passed away and he left me this. Always wanted one as they are about the neatest take-down 22s I've ever seen, and VERY well made. 

Marlin serial database says is a 1957/58

And perhaps a good range day might be made possible in his honor, with the cans lined up on the fence top.  Some of my best childhood memories come from times spent plinking with a Marlin (model 60).
