It's a nice rifle for sure, but that's the most I've ever seen a Karabiner S bring. Anyone here know anything about it? Looks like it may be associated with SKSNut ("Tracking the Uber Rare SKS Rifles" list on SKSBoards).

I was done a couple of days before the auction started with this one. I submitted a 4K sealed bid ($4600 cash price) with RIA and received an email notification the following morning that I was not the high bidder. The winning bid of 10K (11.5K cash price) was a surprise to me too.
