The Camillus (stamped U.S. Navy) was issued to me in 1968. The curved knife is the Chilean 'Curvo', given to me by a retired Chilean Army officer.

Nice to have a personal connection or story to go with them...very cool!  8)

LD, Except for the Camillus, I picked 'em up over the years - traveling and working overseas. To me, the most interesting piece is a remarkably, almost perfect, 3rd century BC Roman spear blade - bought at a flea market outside of Belgrade, Yugoslavia for 5 Deutschmarks in '90. Had it authenticated as genuine by UCLA a few years ago. Have a small suitcase full of other knives, daggers and bayonets that I've been meaning to dig out. One of those 'roundtuit' things!

I'd love to see that one.
I'm a fan of pointy things.
Dad bought me an M5 bayonet with an M8A1 scabbard when I was 10. That sorta got that ball rolling. I still have it, too.

LD, I'll try to dig it out next week. (Send me a PM on the 14th to remind me?)
