Why the question marks?

These arsenals with the question marks. Are they question marks because we don't know exactly what order the numbers are to be read?

I.E.... 1?- 6602 ..... just wondering why the question marks behind the numbers with these Arsenals.

Yes.  Anyone who tells you they know what numerals those arsenal read is BS'ing you.

Take this for example:



That's /625\ right...*everybody* knows it's /625\!

Nope.   /256\ according to the Chinese themselves.

?5-?9 those arsenals all have at least (3) sixes in them beside the other numbers or non numbers correct? I am seeing that correct? Thanks

Yes, you are. Presumably the positioning of the extra numeral within the upper 6 or within the center space tells the informed (Chinese defense ministry) person the order in which it is read. None of the US collecting community has a position like that on their resume afaik  rofl

This is why ?2 slot is now empty.  The proper sequence of the numbers is now known and allocated as such.
