It ain't the "good ol' days" when magazines were a couple of bucks apiece, bayonets, cleaning kits and prices for everything else at the shows were practically sold by the pound;
In y'alls rank order, which THREE parts'n'pieces are getting too damn hard to find - or have gone into the $$$$ stratosphere?

Blade bayonets of any kind but especially M59s

Russian stocks and nearly any blade stock

Fixed magazines

If my 401k grew in value like all this surplus crap has in the past 20 years, I'd be retired, kicked back in Boca Raton earning 12%, killing Long Island Iced Teas rubbing and scratching my....coconuts, while ya'll fight for the latest trinity rifle to grace GunBroker. rofl2
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

While not that hard to find, the prices have gone nuts on the following items:
1) Trigger groups (especially AK mag modded)
2) 20rd Star Magazines
3) Handguard Ferrules

Just plain hard to find:
1) Side swivel blade stocks
2) Long lug spike stocks
3) Short gas tubes

Long to short barrel lug changed at the same time as the change to spike.....   Are you meaning a stock cut for a short lug (not pinned)?

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

My 64 spiker is a long lug.  9159150  IIRC Joe said it was one of the earliest spikes in the database, but that was some time ago...

It's a not particularly pretty unserialed replacement....with a nice bolt carrier gouge on the left side from an adjacent rifle at some point. It has a particularly 'blade thick' fore end for a spiker... I have wondered if it just is an unserialed original, early in the spike game?  It is dual pinned....perhaps a modded blade replacement stock?   I have gone through several hit/miss scenarios on various stocks all of which were not even for this gun, I have yet to find a spike stock that will fit it....I am sure I will find one by accident sometime.  :)

Until I got a /606\ to fit...I didn't search for another stock for quite awhile, as this 9m was the only thing that WOULD fit in the Aussie Thumbhole.  The game is afoot again...I just hope it doesn't cost hundreds in more hit and miss endeavors, with the emphasis on the missing.

Now that I think about it...I am getting a bit fond of this stock again...maybe I will just leave it alone for my sanity.  The gouge is on the wall side when it comes to display. wink1
