Again, starting off new lists for 2017.  Changes to the Chinese Military section include dropping the specific arsenal from the lists.  They will instead be grouped into /triangle\, [rectangle] etc.  Will still breakout DB/DP and M21s.  Added a breakout for public security rifles as well so we can track the prices and condition of those.

Current Condition values reduced from 7 to 5.  Otherwise, about the same as last year.

You have...it's just been awhile...a few years ago I picked up a barreled receiver like this, it was a Davidson's import though.

my serial was exactly like that, only two shared numbers, but the same large font and spacing, the numbers could be similar if not identical...hard to say with that photo. Mine is 0226 72025.  I think at the time we considered it factory 0226. I have extrapolated 1972 out of it based on build 'quality' and components. I also have extrapolated that based on the build 'quality' and components, its possible they didn't expect to crank out more than 999 rifles in 1972...one can only whittle metal so fast.

Perhaps it is no factory designation, and a variation on a date, and the build number for that date?

This one seems to have that bulbous gas block mine also has, and perhaps the FSB with bayonet lug in appearance alone....mine won't accept any bayonet handle I throw at it to prevent dramatic sagging. This one has a serialed stock to the gun, but is blade cut (and side slung) but the ferrule is for a spike? An strange, obvious replacement...with very funky numbers.  Odd duck indeed.
