Nobody here at the Files knows the answer to that question. All we can do is guess. Rest assured it is a number in the millions.

Phosphorus32 has pointed out to you that the only people that know for sure are at the BATF. You can request that info from them but chances are they won't give it to you.

Usually the purpose of a question it to stir a thought or two and/or to engage in a discussion or conversion. Now when a question is asked, and the question asker bows out of said conversation, it can go many ways, but usually they either know or think they know the answer or just want to wait around until they get the answer they want with no participation.

This is a question that very few people would have an exact number or even access to that information, it's a best guess answer unless you go straight to the source.

My question to the OP..... Do you know and what is your thoughts on the numbers of SKSs in the US?  Please, enlighten us

  A little different direction, same topic. Did Keng's (KFS) import any other SKS other than the Public Security Rifles? I see a lot of AK's and the P.S. rifles, but no examples of others, as yet. Okay, deluge me with those "others".

Yes, they imported tons of other SKS rifles.

From the research I have done since purchasing my KFS SKS, yes, they imported all of the SKS flavors, but were the only import "group" to have been awarded the contract for the Public Security rifles.
