12th Soviet-Sino found

I spend an hour or so every night searching the corners of the internet for rare and collectible SKSs. Mostly for commercial models I am missing from my collection, but I do look for a few other ones as well. One that I am always looking out for, is the Soviet Sino star receiver gun. Only 11 on record found so far. Well, I found number 12.

Was a little bit of a production that took 4 straight hours of coordination between people to make the deal. The owner was on the other side of the country and did not want to ship. Luckily, our own xxxsksjoe was out that way, and was able to help me obtain this rifle. Big thanks to Joe for his help 

This is serial 1878. Still under 2000 estimated units so far, as the highest serial we've seen is 1999. This one got a paratrooper conversion, so it did lose some of it's original parts. But the action is all matching and original, loaded with Russian stamps. It's a KSI import, and has the common orange wood un-numbered stock seen on other KSI guns.

It's a really pretty rifle, and in awesome shape. I am definitely happy with the purchase, despite the 4 hours of nail biting stress to make the deal, and what it cost, lol.

You sent me pics of two guns, just serials.

However, RM sent me other pics and the pic of 0598 shows the importer and it's KSI, it's a para, and has the orange wood stock like mine and GMs.

Nice catch PS!! Gotta love those stamps! Lots of stamps! That's nice to look at from front to back! It looks like the previous owner "made" themselves a Para cleaning rod. Are you needing one?
