Probably rusted all the way through and fell off.  That gun is something else man, a very scary something else!  All the work that someone took to clean up the rust surely wasn't worth it was it?

It seems that Type 56s remain the bargains of the SKS world.  Prices seem to be creeping up if you bother to list them and photograph them well. Part of me wishes the average price would go up another $100-150, maybe it would keep Bubba from trashing improving his "cheap shooter Norinco".

Sure....then his "improvements" make Romanians and Yugoslavians more and equal fair game... 

Why not lower the prices of those click snap Erector set modular rifles with fatty mags to cheap shooter SKS prices to lure and tempt them away

I think bubba will always be with us since he just likes to sit out under the shade tree next to grandma's old warshing machine and implement accuracy and precision improvements like a  hacksawed-off barrel, and bipods that clamp on the barrel, stealth improvements like rattle-can olive drab and FDE tiger stripes, and firepower maximizing improvements like 30 round mags with phallic appendages for easy insertion...somewhere up...dang it...get in there...into the stock...sanded...filed...dremeled...sawzalled...axed magazine well.

Pardon my facetious rantings, I know there're people who do skillful modification work but this is the unaltered military section after all

Aunt Bunnys uber accurate sharks with lasers steathy super secret silenced self cleaning carbon fiber piston adjustable Flowmaster gas system enhanced capacity packing phallus flip flop folder with an extendable barrel and a retractable tweak-a-brake skews the price on Uncle Rons standard mundane boring 'ol /366\ spiker.

But.. I wouldn't want to cycle through all of it trying to separate it, poor fella got enough stress keeping up on it.

Maybe I should add a line in the spreadsheet for an "Avg. Bubba" price. 

Above $200 but lower than $300 I'd bet.  Hmm.

Wasnt tryin to add to your already big work load..  Just something I have kind of wondered about, 126 sold this month and usually x% are sold during an avg month are bubbas, some sell for higher or lower, or go wild in any one direction at once, which can influence the overall avg price in "classic" rifles.  A high number of high priced bubbas in a month can alter the market, dragging the over all price up with it. A bunch of low buck parts/projects could effectively drag the price down.
