Pictures as usual were less than favorable. ....but I think I snagged a nonrefurbished 1955. Will know more in a few days......who has a good photo program?  :)

If it has the cartouches in the stock on the left side around the cross bolt and all the parts match I'd say yup, nice score.

It looks like it might have cartouches on both sides......just too grainy when I enlarge it. I asked for additional photos......just waiting.....

Hey Pat, did you get this one in yet?  Would love to see a full suite of high res photos, especially of the stock S/N and crossbolt areas.  If it's the real deal, I'd love to put it up in the '55 slot of the Russian SKS Guide.  I don't think I would ever find a nicer one! thumb1
