My names Rich.  I live in the Paw Paw, Wv area, just across the Potomac from Allegany county, Md.  I'm originally from Pittsburgh, Pa and find it funny that Maryland misspelled Allegheny.  My firearms collection consists of AKs, shotguns, pistols, and a arsenal 0130 SKS that I just purchased last Saturday.  From data posted here in the dating thread, it appears to be a 1978 model.  My son actually had a SKS before I did.  For his 18th birthday, I bought him a bubbaed 1994 Chinese commercial model.

Oh, there's no question about that.  I've fired them before.  My grandfather had a couple, one of which was a Vietnam bring back that my uncle brought over with his own hands.  For some reason I just kept putting off buying one of my own.  Last Saturday (July 9, 2016 for the record), I went to the LGS to look at a new "pocket pistol".  When I got there, they had a mint SKS-M and 2 beautiful type 56s hanging on the peg wall, as you walk in the door.  Long story short, the pistol never came out of the display case and one of the 56s went out the door. The M would have, too, if the wife wasn't there.
