My Grandson's shooting!

Our Grandson Jace is 9 yrs old and shaping up to be a danged good shooter! The only long or short gun in our "arsenal" that he hesitates to pull the trigget on is the 12 guage. He has shot them all, The SKSs, ARs, .45 ACP, & the .357mag. But he loves Grandma's .22 LR Mossberg International 715T. It's a cheapy but a great shooter.

He's firing Federal LR 36grain HP at 38 feet and having a field day. He told me with a big grin that he just HAD to make those head shots...I'm danged proud of this boy!

Major props to you for passing along the talent and the importance of one of our greatest freedoms to the next generation. I love seeing the young 'uns taking a shine to the sport. It's one of the few things that sincerely makes me optimistic.

Great shooting! My grand daughter turns 8 next month. I'm hoping my daughter in law will let me teach her this year. I know exactly what you mean about it being more fun for you than him. I love watching them learn new things.
