I've read that the rifle I have is supposedly kinda rare. It's an Arsenal 26, 16" barrel with spike bayo, all matching numbers, and the serial number dates it to 1965-66. Imported by KSI Pamona CA. Complete with cleaning kit and sling. How rare is it and what's it worth in excellent condition?

There is nothing rare about most /26\ T56s.  Having said that, the paratrooper aspect of it makes it a bit more interesting, but no "rarer".

If it's a std. paratrooper (and not say a K-Sports paratrooper hunter ) or some other specific commercial variant, I'd say it's going to fall close to the January Gunbroker avg of $388.56 for std. paratroopers in as-imported condition.  The excellent condition may bring it up another $100 if you have the box and all accessories, but I'd say $500 is the upper limit on them these days.  Of course, there's always that one gun that will sell at 3 sigmas from the avg., so you never know :)

Photos would really help.  Tutorial is here: http://sks-files.com/index.php?topic=87.0
