Do 1949 carbines have only one number stamp for matching barreled recievers?

Saw one on another forum with a single number (15)  stamped in an unusual location---at the very edge where the barrel lug meets the receiver...about 2mm from the alignment marks.

Cant find any left side photos of a 1949 barreled/receiver online.

Thanks.

Mine has what appears to be a 15 sort of in there....it might be a series of proof marks, or possibly tool marks?

This is the third '49 with the unpaired barrel/receiver number stamp. Im gonna have to check my (50-51) again to see if it has the pair or just the one stamp.

The 1949's seem to be the only SKS witht the number stamp in that location next to the alignment mark. All the rest (i still have to check my 50-51 but iirc it has the number pair) have two stamps about 3-4" apart. One on the barrel lug and the other on the reciever flat just below the chamber opening.
