I just asked the wife how many rounds of 7.62x39 she thought I had.  I explained that I have 13 SKS's and that most hold 10 rds.  She answered 30 first, then, after I coached her, she said 390.  I don't know if I should tell her or let her think that she is correct!   :-\

My wife actually is more aware with how many rounds we have vs. how many SKSs we have...which is good on both aspects. We won't be running out of either anytime soon. :)

I just like that over the last few years she is actually showing interest, a vegetarian who is concerned about her ammo supply is just plain cute.

I never thought the wife noticed until one day on the news they were talking about a guy's "5000 round arsenal". She said"Wow! If that's an arsenal what would they think of yours!"

My wife knows how many arms and rounds we have. A few days ago I said something about getting another case next month, she replied..."in a SHTF situation do you think we'll live long enough to use up the 5000 rounds we have?"

What the hell do you do with a question like that?  :o

I told her what you said LC, she's okay with that. As long as she gets to burn some powder she don't care!!
