I would like to introduce myself. I'm CRAZYIVEN51  and hope to learn a great deal from you gun loving folks. I have always wanted an SKS and i finally picked one up about a month ago in a trade.
I think the sks is a really sweet looking rifle ( have thought so for a long time ) but my wife thinks it is ugly looking.

I will post pics soon of my recent pick-up.

My Dad thinks they're ugly as hell and my Mother said "Thats a beautiful rifle son" LOL. Let your wife shoot it a few times, she'll fall in love with it.

Their is no such thing as a ugly rifle right?
I just wish i knew what i no now back in the early 90's that for $79 you could pick these up all day long at roses.

I will be needing assistance with my sks as far as info and documantation. I'm not sure what i have but it dosent't matter to me but, still curious.

Welcome! My wife likes the look of my SKS a lot more than the Aks I had. She likes me getting old milsurp rifles as long as I don't spend too much of course :p
