Yeah, i mentioned that gun the other day. Apparently it was common for service men to have their captured SKSs chromed by motorcycle shops overseas. I wonder if it has an import stamp.

Think they were bicycle shops.. But Im guessing chrome shops did just about anything.

It's sort of like some women I have seen over the years, doesn't look too bad from across the room. But no doubt the same thing has been said about me from up close and at a distance!

I'm wondering if that is chrome or really nickle, I wouldn't have plated the bayonet collar.
